SIP EXECUTIVE 

The heart of 3G mobile, the core of the new Windows XP™ Messenger and potentially a key to the emerging world of softswitching and Megaco, SIP is the exciting new call signalling protocol. This course is designed specifically for those who need to get up to speed with this emerging technology, acknowledged as the signalling mechanism of choice for IP-based telephony and multimedia networks.

SIP TECHNOLOGY SUITE 

SIP is the new IETF signalling protocol used to initiate, manage and terminate real-time interactive sessions between users on the Internet and IP based networks. It defines mechanisms for call routing, call signalling, content, capabilities exchange, media control and supplementary services.

IP in 3G 

A 2 day technical overview of the role of IP in 3G services. With the advances in the development of 3G the role of IP is changing. This course aims to cover the new areas that relate to IP and its role in the 3rd Generation wireless network.

MPLS PRIMER 

MPLS has emerged as a popular solution for high speed real time networks harnessing the processing power of Application Specific Integrated Circuits and intelligent multiplayer Switch Routing devices. It is now regarded as serious contender in carrier network environments as well as backbone technology for Internet based traffic. MPLS will be at the heart of many 3G implementations. This course is intended as a technical introduction.

MOBILE IP ESSENTIALS 

This course focuses on the technical structure and operation of Mobile IP. The rationale for Mobile IP is discussed and the architecture, protocols, and processes examined in depth. The course concludes with reference to the application of Mobile IP in PC and wireless environments.

IP TELEPHONY 

This course examines the subject of IP Telephony, reviewing the technologies and methods used to implement voice services over IP networks. The course focuses on the issues involved in providing quality telecommunications over connectionless packet based networks. Emphases will be given to the current limitations of IP technology, support for services, the integration with legacy systems, and call set-up and control.
