IP v6 Essentials ***
Duration:
2 days
Course Content
Carriers and SSPs are now actively supporting or migrating
towards and trialling IPv6 implementation as vendors bring IPv6 based products
to market. The course focuses on a thorough grounding in all aspects of the new
technology. The technical structure and operation of IPv6 with special emphasis
on the requirements for routing, QoS, security, migration and coexistance with
IPv4 is considered.
Course Objectives
Recognise the limitations of IPv4 architecture
Plan and evaluate IPv6's use in the provision of new services
Appreciate the coexistance mechanism between IPv4 and IPv6 and how migration
can be achieved
Who Should Attend
Technical development and support professionals who wish to implement new
IP-based mobile networks and services for carriers, ISPs and large users
Systems development engineers, technical marketing and planning
professionals in communications applications and systems vendors
Network support personnel, administrators
IT directors and managers
